Day... 90! Muay Thai

"We don't give away a TapouT body.
You have to come and get it!"

It's a beautiful day today.

It's Day 90.  My final workout in my 90 day push to better fitness with TapouT XT.

I woke up this morning filled with such excitement to reach this milestone.

I chose my favorite workout, of course:  Muay Thai. I grabbed my favorite workout gear. I got my towel and my water. And then I pressed play, like I've done so many times in the last 90 days.

Most days I feel totally victorious after I finish TapouT.

Today? I was victorious before I even started.

Imagine how I felt when I was done!

To the headlines, below.

Headlines

1.  I am overcome with emotion at having reached this milestone. In my next and final blog, I'll share more about my experience and my results!
2.  Muay Thai is, without question, the most fun I have EVER had in a workout. It's challenging, I can feel it working, and I love every minute of it.
3.  I'll say again that there really isn't anything cooler than working out "with" the MMA fighters. They're crushing it in my living room!
4.  Best workout move ever:  Side Squat / Knee Strike / Reverse Lunge / Knee Strike.  Pain and glory, all in one sweet move.
5.  Late in the workout Mike says, "Does it get any better than this?"  It absolutely doesn't get any better. I'm in love with TapouT and Muay Thai.

Memorable Move

My last memorable move - ack!  I haven't hit them all, I know. Today's move is Lead Kick / Jab / Cross / Knee Strike. This move doesn't sound nearly as fun as it is. When I do this move, I feel like a fighter. First, I kick hard. Then I punch, pow-pow. And then I drive a knee into an opponent's torso. You have to visualize someone there to get this move right, to give it the intensity it deserves. And when you do, the pay-off is awesome. You feel strong. You look tough. AND you work your body, top to bottom. Even your heart is racing because of the pace and length of this sequence. Going back to Mike's earlier question, "Does it get any better than this?" Nope.

Favorite Mike Quote Of The Day

At the start of this workout, Mike says, "Let's add some power this time, guys. Ready? ELEVATE this. Come and get it!"  One of the most important lessons I've learned from TapouT XT is that you get out of this workout what you bring to it. The reason TapouT XT still challenges me after 90 days is because of my desire to crush it. (Well, and because it's extreme fitness and hard. That helps.)

My point is that I want to come and get it 100% every time. Anyone who signs up for TapouT probably does. What's awesome is this: what was 100% for me on Day 1... is very different than 100% for me on Day 90. I'm so much stronger now. I bring a lot more to these workouts every day. They challenge me in new ways every time. I'm elevating the workout - as I get better, it gets better. Maybe there's a bigger compliment I could give to a workout program, but I'm not sure what it is.

In my next and final blog here (sniff), I'll share more about my experience overall with TapouT. I don't think it's any secret that I'm a huge fan. I love this workout. I'll continue to tell anyone who will listen how incredible it is. As I keep doing TapouT moving forward, I hope my level of fitness will be a walking testimonial to the results it can deliver.

Best. Workout. Ever.

More tomorrow,
 Lisa
